 The bar and restaurant just
finished having a very successful
Octoberfest which is one of
McMasters’ favorite times of year.
She also said, “The Speakeasy Stroll
was really fun. People were really
into dressing up in 20s attire. It’s fun
to work with the other businesses.”
She is also looking forward to the
annual St. Patrick’s Day Pub Crawl
set for March 18.
 Dogs are a big part of what
makes people who visit Antebellum
comfortable. Dogs are welcome on
the patio and there are several water
bowls available for them to get a
drink anytime. While McMasters
owns a Rottweiler, their next pet
event is an adoption and fundraiser
for two Boston Terrier rescue groups.
“They approached me about it. It’s
a cool place to have it since we are
dog-friendly,” she said. The event is
called Paws and Pints and will be
held on Nov. 5 from 1 to 5 p.m. 
 She also has her hand in another
local business called Unspoken
Bike Shop at 220 York Avenue with
partner Josh Porter. The shop offers
new and used bikes as well as bike
repair since Porter is a certified bicycle mechanic. The shop has special
events planned for cycling enthusiasts
and is a full-service bike shop right in
downtown Weatherford. 
 Antebellum is located just off
Santa Fe Drive at 321 East Oak
Street. Children are permitted until 9
p.m. and dogs are always invited to
the patio area. In the future, McMasters can see expanding the parking
lot or maybe the patio, but she is
quite content with her place. “The
goal when we opened up was to
have a place for all different demographics to hang out where everyone
felt comfortable, to have conversations. A nice relaxed vibe,” she said.
When asked if she can see her doing
this long-term she answered, “Yes,”
because, “I really have a passion for
it I and I really enjoy it.”
