Almost the entire Hobson family
works at the family business, Hobson
Comfort Experts, a heating and air
conditioning company. They’re all
also very active in their community,
their church, and believe firmly in
“giving back.”
The senior Hobsons, Phillip and
Linda are involved in The Promise, a
stage production held each autumn
in Glen Rose that is about the life of
Jesus. They have been active in the
event since its inception 30 years

another plane full of supplies.
Their sister, Cindy Thomas, stayed

ness.
The Hobson family also has an
Air Conditioning University that
will soon move from the company’s
headquarters in Weatherford on
Greenwood Road to a much larger
location — a building that was once
used as a hospital for Fort Wolters —
it’s both in the City of Mineral Wells,
but it’s still in Parker County.
It’s interesting that the family
would also be passionate about a
relatively new cause — urban renew-
el. Recently, the family has become
heavily involved in the Urban CURE,
a non-profit organization founded by
Star Parker.
Parker is an author, nationally
syndicated columnist, and founder
of the non-profit organization based
in Washington D.C. that addresses
issues of culture, poverty and race
relations from a conservative, Judeo-
