Award — Natalie Waskel
Natalie was born and raised in Chicago and graduated from
Southern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science in
Journalism, Concentration Advertising.
In college, she received a Gold Addy Award and Silver
Summit International Award for ads that she produced for her
“Band-Aid” Campaign.
After college, she moved to Longview and worked as
Marketing Coordinator at Longview Regional Medical Center.
Within a year and a half, she was promoted to Marketing
Manager at Weatherford Regional Medical Center where she has
been for 3 years, but with CHS (Community Health Systems) for
almost 5 years.
Natalie is actively involved with the community, being part
of the Zonta Club, Alzheimer’s Association, first Leadership of
Weatherford Class (2014-2015), and delivering Meals on Wheels.
She is also on the board of directors as secretary for the Lupus
Foundation of America - Lone Star Chapter.
When asked what she is most proud of, she said it’s “moving
1,400 miles away to Texas (not knowing a soul) to start a new
job, and having three successful sold-out Healthy Woman
Anniversaries (the 10-year anniversary speaker is a BIG one!!).”
She is “very flattered” that we thought of her for this award,
but honestly, we didn’t know who else was more deserving.
