Conner Cowdrey is a bright, forwardthinking, young businessman with a
thriving, albeit, small poultry operation.
He takes care of his ow n
accounts, completely oversees his
own livestock operations and has put
most of the money he’s made back
into his business, or he socks it away
to invest at a later date, in continuing
education.
What sets Conner apart from most
other young businessmen? He’s 13.
Conner began showing animals in
livestock shows eight years ago when
he was 5. He started out working
with heifers and his first show was
the Fort Worth Stock Show.
Today, Conner is an officer in
Spring Creek 4-H and has been
for the past four years. He’s also a
seventh-grader at Brock Junior High
School and he shows goats and
sheep, but he most enjoys showing
poultry.
Conner’s shift in interest from
cattle to poultry is more than just a
preference. It’s something he has built
