A Letter From The Editor
Three of my aunts sat side-by-side on
the Huntington Beach Pier “supervising” me. I was 7; they were 50-something, wearing patio dresses with
dangling earrings and Espadrilles. It
was a gloriously beautiful day and
my mother’s mother had just died.
The aunts were from my dad’s side of
the family and they had
