Dr. McBride plans to continue
growing in her practice and
improve care for women in the
county. Some advice she has for
others coming into this field is
actually a piece of advice she was
given herself, advice she describes
as the best she’s ever been given
— to stay grounded and to always
remember where you started. Her
favorite quote is, “Patients do not
care what you know until they
know that you care.”
Dr. McBride is actively involved
in her community. She is the medical director for the Grace House/
Options Clinic and also is serving
her second year as the Chairman
for the Weatherford Regional
Medical Center Hospital Board.
She’s chosen this route to giving
because it allows her to give back
to women during various times in
their lives. She is humbled to have
been nominated for this award
and grateful for the opportunity to
represent her community.
