Blake would like to establish a full-blown media department for Weatherford in the future, but for the time being he wants to focus on being a great father to his twins. Some advice he has for others coming into the field of public relations is to be open-minded to different opportunities and be open to change. PA R K E R C O U N T Y T O D AY Experienced Conservative Republican for Judge County Court at Law #2 MAY 2016 A resident of Parker County for about 10 years now, Jake Link is working and growing his real estate business through residential, commercial, farm and ranch sales. Jake found his calling in life after working hard to own his own home at the age of 23.
These days, he strives to be the best agent he can be for his clients in the rough and turbulent real estate market. But if you don’t see him out selling houses, you might run in to him when he is the “very unofficial official coach” for his kid’s sports teams. Jake loves to support the community through active sports programs and riding in the Parker County rodeo as a member of the Parker County Sheriff’s Posse. What motivates Jake is not the money but being “addicted to the deal.” His formula to success is having faith and trust in yourself and family. Reach for what you want. “Success is earned,” Jake said, “not given. So at the end of the day you have to go get it.” Dr. Stephen Newman Moving Cardiology Forward Award - Dr. Syed Abbas Agha 21
