Parker County Today
Graduation Special
Parker County top grads
BY MELISSA MOORMAN
If I wasn’t already optimistic about our future because of my own children, I would
be now after interviewing the best and the brightest from all of our county’s high
schools. We included public and private, small and large to give you a peek into
what these young leaders are thinking, planning and doing as they leave the hallowed
halls of our area schools. They are an incredibly modest group given all of their
activities and achievements, as well as polite, driven, positive and focused. Their
plans and dreams are as dissimilar as the schools they come from. Here is a preview
of great things to come from the valedictorian and salutatorian candidates from all ten
of our county’s high schools. Congratulations to all of them for their hard work and
perseverance. Congratulations also to their parents who I’m sure are finding the end
of this school year very exciting but also bittersweet as they see these great kids leave
the family nest for college.
