T
he Aledo football team members aren’t the only ones who can claim back-toback state championships. That distinction is shared this year by Ladycat golfer
Cheyenne Knight. In the last round of the state tournament held in Lost Pines,
Texas, she shot a one-over-par 73 for a 36-hole total of 143 to beat the second place
finisher by one stroke. Cheyenne’s win helped her team earn second place, their best
finish in school history. But winning is what Cheyenne has done a lot of during her
high school career.
