PARKER COUNTY AG

Martin Land Salutes Kamden Hutton Daughter of Brad and Kim Hutton

• Peaster High School Freshman
• Standout Athlete in Softball , Volleyball and Track
• Ag Champion
Kamden entered her first youth livestock show when she was just a 3-year-old . She followed her older sister , Kelsey , and her father Brad into show business , and while Kamden loves everything about showing her animals , her goal is not to pursue a career in agriculture . Her dad , Brad Hutton , is a teacher and coach in Burleson , but grew up in Perrin . Her mother , Kim Hutton works for Weatherford College , heading up student support .
Most Significant Victories : Kamden participated in her first big Ag show when she was nine and she took top honors as Breed Champion MJSA in Belton that same year . Last year , Kamden took the title of Breed Champion in the Austin show and Reserve Hampshire Breed Champion in San Antonio . This year she took the honor of Supreme Champion in the Houston Stock Show ( March of 2018 ). “ She ’ s just got a talent for showing those animals ,” said her dad . Her motivation ? “ That ’ s easy . She wants to beat her big sister . We ’ ve been successful with Ag . It ’ s what we do when we take a family trip .” When asked about areas where Ag has benefitted his daughters ,
Hutton said , “ It ’ s taught them respect , responsibility and how to treat animals . I think it taught Kamden to be humble . She loves to be a winner but she ’ s very humble when she doesn ’ t win .” Kamden plans to pursue a career as a physical therapist , because she loves to help people . That ’ s just the kind of people that school Ag programs turn out .
Congrats Kamden .
