tests this spring and summer. They hosted a men’s cancer screening day at The Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders and provided over 260 different screenings in one day. A golf tournament called Mulligans for the Men last month raised much of the funds. “Careity services for Parker County women are some of the best in the nation and we are now advancing our men’s initiative to achieve a similar status. Saving lives and helping people through their cancer journey is very important to us.” said Lyn Walsh, Co-Founder of Careity Foundation. Careity Foundation serves communities in Tarrant, Parker, Palo Pinto, Hood, and Johnson counties. Stars & Strides is a PATH (Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International) certified facility located in Weatherford and works with children and adults with disabilities. Students are taught equine care, riding, handling, and management to their best level of ability.
