take 3-5 hours, depending on the size of the home. Take the time to be
present for the inspection and do not be shy about asking the inspector
questions if you are uncertain about something being said, something you
see or the operation of a system. You are paying for their service and should
expect and receive a thorough inspection.
PCT: What's involved in a home inspection?
WINHI: A WIN home inspection provides a visual, non-invasive, comprehensive analysis of the current condition of the home at the time of the inspection. It assesses the structural components of the home and reviews the
major and ancillary systems. Foundation, roof, basement/crawl space, attic,
walls, ceilings, windows, doors and floors are all inspected, as well as the
heating, cooling, plumbing and electrical systems. It also includes an assessment of how well attached garages, decks, porches and related construction
have been built.
