would you do ? KL : I ’ ve always wanted to work with animals and have a rescue .
PCT : What is your impact to Parker County ? KL : Initially , I was hoping to “ just ” teach swimming , but my dream has evolved and my vision is to have a community centered around swimming and water safety in Parker County . I love being able to be a vehicle to spread injury prevention , help our community and inspire children to be better people .

Jacquie Case is a certified personal trainer / national recruiter with Camp Gladiator . She was also one of our 2017 bachelorettes .
PCT : If you had to do another job other than what you ’ re doing , what would you do ? JC : If I had to do another job other than what I do I would probably go back to nursing . I love taking care of others and loved being in the hospital scene .
PCT : What is your impact to Parker County ? JC : I grew up in Parker County and it is home to me . No matter how much it has grown , this town means a lot to me and the people in it . I want to do all I can to positively impact as many lives as I can .
PCT : What is your definition of the best day ever ? KL : Oh gosh , I ’ ve had so many amazing days it ’ s hard to describe the best day ever . Most people would say it ’ s sitting on the beach having a drink with no cell phone or Internet . I think I would have to go with a nice quiet day with my family and no cares in the world but just appreciation of being able to slow down , spend time with each other and have real conversation .
PCT : What ’ s the best piece of advice you would give ? KL : Cliche , but travel . I have learned and seen so much in traveling . It ’ s my adult way of continuing my education to learn about people and cultures and continually be grateful for what we have .
PCT : What is the most interesting thing you have ever done in your life ? KL : A few years ago , my mom and I went on a girl ' s trip to Baja California and visited Magdelena Bay . It was during the birthing season for gray whales and we were able to literally reach over our boat ( more like a raft ) and pet some of the gentle giants , and I even was able to pet a baby . It was awesome !
PCT : How did you get into your occupation ? JC : I fell in love with health and fitness . I have always loved helping people and what better way to help people , especially back in my hometown of Aledo ?
PCT : What do you do to decompress ? JC : I love the outdoors , so I love going trail running , just being in nature and seeing God ’ s beauty all around . We all get so caught up in our busy schedules , so I love getting lost on the trails .
PCT : What is something people don ’ t know about you ? JC : I want so badly to go to Australia !
PCT : What would you most like to be remembered for ? JC : For being relentless , strong , selfless , always positive with a smile on my face , but most importantly for shedding His light through the way I live .
PCT : If you could have lunch with anyone , either living or dead from history , who would it be ? JC : Jimmy Stewart . My favorite movie is It ’ s A Wonderful Life . I am so oldfashioned and love the older movies .
PCT : What is your definition of the best day ever ? JC : Best day ever I would wake up and have coffee on the front porch , go on a trail run on a brisk morning followed by walking my dog Oakley and ending it with a glass of wine . But to be completely honest , I pretty much have the best days ever when I get to see my Camp Gladiator family and training them . I literally have the best job and could not ask for anything else . God has blessed me with so many wonderful people in my life .
PCT : What ’ s the best piece of advice you would give ? JC : You only get this one life to live : are you doing everything you can to be the best you can be ? God gives us so many opportunities in life to share his love , so I strive to live my life and encourage others to be their best selves and to live adventurously .
PCT : What is the most interesting thing you have ever done in your life ? JC : I would say still to this day nothing has topped the one time me and my Dad climbed behind a waterfall . Growing up we always went to Colorado , my favorite place . Well , I would say I get my adventurous side from my dad . We literally climbed right up behind our favorite waterfall , Treasure Falls . The water was literally right in front of our faces . It was so amazing .
