Emily Beck Emily Beck sells real estate with Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty. She was also our winning bachelorette in our 2017 Sweet Charity and Bachelorette competition.   PCT: How did you get into your occupation?  EB: I used to plan weddings for a living. I did not enjoy it. I decided to take a risk and try something new. My dad sold real estate and invest- ed, so I got my license and started selling homes. PCT: What is your favorite novel?  EB: Redeeming Love, by Francine Rivers. PCT: What do you do to decom- press?  EB: At the end of the day I ride my horse to de-stress. It’s therapeutic for me. Being with an animal, it’s just so relaxing after a stressful day of work. Being out in the country with no distractions. PCT: What would you most like to be remembered for? EB: I want to be remembered as PCT: What is something people don’t know about you? EB: My favorite thing to do is scuba diving. Continued on page 12 9
