PCT : How long have you been in Parker County ? TERRI STOKES : I was born here , but my dad was a cop and we moved to Garland when I was a child . I have two brothers and four step-brothers . So it was get tough or die .
PCT : What ’ s the coolest thing that you have ever done in your life ? TS : Hiked to the top of a mountain in Alaska , and I have played ball with some young cheetahs in South Africa . The scariest animal was a big bull elephant .

PCT : How long have you been in Parker County ? AB : I lived there from 1975 through 2008
PCT : What ’ s the greatest thing that you have ever done in your life ? AB : I opened the Cosmetology School at Weatherford College .
PCT : Do you have a secret talent ? AB : Not that I know of .
PCT : What is your definition of the best day ever ? AB : Can ’ t say ; they are all really good .
PCT : If could have had another career , what would it be ? AB : I would be teaching in a public school .
PCT : How did you get into your last job ? AB : Paul Fuller at WCS asked the dean at Cisco Jr . College for a recommendation and he said I have just the person you need .
PCT : What would you like to be remembered for ? AB : Teaching kids to be themselves and to do well in their chosen career .
PCT : What ’ s your secret talent ? TS : I ’ m a beekeeper , I can rewire a hot water heater , and I can make soap .
PCT : What is your definition of the best day ever ? TS : Hiking in the Machu Picchu in Peru , but I could have a pretty great time just hanging out with my horses .
PCT : What piece of advice has defined your life up until now ? TS : Carpe diem . Seize the Day .
PCT : If you could have another career , what would it be and why ? TS : I already have . I did concert lighting for 13 years and worked for the airlines and those overlapped . I think I ’ d be an author of non-fiction .
PCT : How long have you been in Parker County ? MH : I ’ ve been practicing in Parker County for about 30 years .
PCT : What ’ s the coolest thing that you have ever done in your life ? MH : I worked in Zurich Switzerland building phone networks . I worked over there as a lawyer back when the US markets had deregulated .
PCT : What ’ s your secret talent ? MH : My talents are in what I do for a living . I work all the time . I also like to travel and I speak both German and Russian . I studied at the University of Moscow for two semesters .
PCT : What is your definition of the best day ever ? MH : I like being around my kids . Usually doing something outside , like skiing or going to the lake .
