It ’ s hard work being Jacalynn Aldridge .
Most of her days begin long before dawn , even during the summer months when so many Texas teens make a career out of sleeping in , with many not rising until late morning or early afternoon . But Jacalynn is not just any teen . She ’ s an “ Ag Kid ,” a 4-H princess . She ’ s making a name for herself and building for her future by showing steers . It ’ s something she does extremely well and she takes pride in her accomplishments .
