PCT : What is your favorite book ? MB : My favorite book is All Quiet on the Western Front .
PCT : What is your favorite movie ? MB : My favorite movie is Failure to Launch .
PCT : What is your favorite kind of music ? MB : My favorite type of music is rock .
PCT : What ’ s the most daring thing you ’ ve ever done ? MB : For me it would be walking without my guidance cane .
PCT : What accomplishment are you most proud of ? MB : Joining Phi Theta Kappa .
PCT : When you were a child , what did you want to be when you grew up ? MB : I wanted to be a musician .
PCT : How did you get into your field ? MB : I realized a need for braille menus in restaurants .
PCT : Would you recommend your career for other people ? Why ? MB : Yes , because it is an eye opener to see what disadvantages that the visually impaired have to struggle through .
PCT : What do you do to relax ? MB : I like to listen to music .

Heather Stark
Heather Stark is the founder of Gracefully Strong . It is an eight-week program for girls in the 4 th to 8 th grade that helps build self-confidence and self-acceptance helping them understand their worth , their value and who they are . It is taught through both schools and churches throughout the DFW area . Classes and program are also taught at their new center on Elm Street in Weatherford .
PCT : What ’ s the coolest thing that you have ever done in your life ? HS : I guess maybe starting a nonprofit . Just jumping into this entrepreneurship . It ’ s truly been radical obedience in God and not doing things the traditional way . I like a quote from Steve Jobs that said , “ You can only connect the dots looking forward not looking back .” When I started the non-profit everything suddenly felt streamlined and I knew this is what I was meant to do .
PCT : What ’ s your secret talent ? HS : I love community theater and I do a little bit of acting on the side . My favorite role is Gaynelle and I performed her with the Popcorn Players in Azle . She ’ s a cross between Lucille Ball and Carol Burnett . She was a reoccurring character .
PCT : What is your definition of the best day ever ? HS : Laying beside the pool and reading all day long with the hot sun beating down on you and a drink off to the side .
PCT : What piece of advice has defined your life up till now ? HS : Be your own best friend .

PCT : How long have you been in Parker County ? HS : We have lived in Parker County for six years . After living in Saginaw , we wanted a little bit more space . Since my husband graduated from Aledo we wanted to come back where he grew up . Parker County feels very genuine and real and we wanted that for our kiddos . PCT : How long have you been in Parker County ? LN : Most recently , since 2010 . But
