and a girlfriend knew him and introduced us. My husband and I both
loved to dance.
Q: When you were a child, what did
you want to be when you grew up?
A: A nurse
Q: How did you get into your field?
A: When I was 15, I was a nurse’s
aide in the hospital. I got out of
school at 2:30, and took the bus or
taxi for 50 cents (that was a lot in
those days) to go the hospital.
Q: What do you do to chill?
A: Watch TV, check Facebook, and
watch my two dogs and two cats
play.
Q: If you could visit any place in the
world, where would you go?
A: Back to Hawaii, but it wouldn’t
be the same now. My husband and I
went with a group of friends and we
had a wonderful time.
Q: If someone asked you for your best
piece of advice, what would you say?
A: Be honest and help people.
Q: What’s your favorite hobby?
A: Ceramics, crocheting and talking
to friends. I co-owned a ceramic gift
shop for many years with a nurse
friend of mine.
Q: What is the one thing that makes
you happy?
A: Making other people happy and
enjoying my dogs and cats.
Q: What scares you?
A: Snakes.
Q: Do you like to plan things out in
detail or be spontaneous?
A: Both, depends on what it is.
Q: If you could go back in history,
who is the one person you would like
to meet?
A: Elvis Presley.
Q: Who in your life influenced you
the most?
A: Eula Moore, a retired Army nurse.
Q: What would you most like to be
remembered for?
A: Helping patients through my nursing career and being kind to people.
