Q: What is your favorite book?
A: Ron Hall, Same Kind of Different
as Me
Q: What is your favorite movie?
A: Lonesome Dove
Q: What kind of music are you into?
A: ‘50s music. The one music that
cuts across all ages is the ‘50s.
Q: What’s the most daring thing
you’ve ever done?
A: A buddy and I were climbing
mountains in Colorado. We were
bow hunting from a precipice
and there was no way off of it but
jumping. If we didn’t make it, we
would have died.
Q: What accomplishment are you
most proud of?
A: Accepting Jesus Christ. Everything
else is fodder.
Tech. At a fraternity party I had a
friend who wanted me to take a photo
of him and his new girlfriend. He said
he would buy it. So he was my first
customer. That was 100,000 people
ago.
Q: Would you recommend your
career for other people? Why?
A: Anyone who gets to create is
blessed. And if they get paid for it,
wow!
Q: What do you do to relax?
A: I visit with people. I love people.
I love to serve. It’s an honor. I retired
for two years and I was absolutely
miserable. I get to create. I get to meet
people, stop time, and they enjoy it
for decades.
Q: If you could visit any place in the
world, where would you go?
A: I’ve been all over the world, but
I love Texas. I work with the Texas
Rangers (law enforcement) — the
guys with the hats, not the bats. I’ve
been working with them since 1983
donating my services.
than 90 percent of the people.
Q: What makes you really sad?
A: I hate to see people do what they
do to themselves if it’s destructive.
Rude to a lady, late for appointments,
gossiping.
Q: What scares you?
A: Not death, the other side is much
better. I can’t think of anything.
Q: Who is the one person you’d like
to meet?
A: Kevin Costner
Q: If you could go back in history,
who is the one person you would like
to meet?
A: Thomas Jefferson
Q: When you were a child, what did
you want to be when you grew up?
A: I knew I would be a businessman
and an entrepreneur.
Q: If someone asked for your best
piece of advice, what would you say?
A: Be yourself. Be on time.
Q: What’s your favorite hobby?
A: Whatever the grandkids want to
do, hunting, fishing.
Q: Who in your life has influenced
you the most? How?
A: Coach Charlie Turner at Paschal
High School. He gave me whippings
all through high school and I
deserved every one. He prevented
many guys from ending up in jail.
Q: How did you get into your field?
A: I had come back from the Peace
Corps after graduating from Texas
Q: What is the one thing that makes
you happy?
A: Life. I love life. I enjoy more in life
Q: What would you most like to be
remembered for?
A: Being open about my faith.
Q: Are you married? How did you
meet your spouse?
A: Yes, been married 16 years. She
was the office manager to one of my
best friends.

Q: What do you do?
A: Every day I choreograph, find music, teach it and I fix it along the way.
Sometimes we have pre-done choreography, but most of the time I create my
own. I like to do it and I’m good at it. I find music that is appropriate for the
age, I plan it and I teach it. I do it because it’s what I love.
Q: What is your favorite book?
A: The Things They Carried, by Tim O’Brien
