DC: Having a good heart and being a
good friend.
PCT: If you could have lunch with
anyone, either living or dead from
history, who would it be?
DC: My perfect dream lunch would
be with my dad and mom. My dad
was my mentor and first love, and my
mom could look at a dress and just
draw it and make it. I’d love for them
to see my grandkids.

PCT: If you had to do a job other
than what you’re doing, what would
you do?
DC: I would like to do marketing. I
did that for about three years in the
financial world and enjoyed it very
much.
PCT: What is your impact to Parker
County?
DC: I am a Parker County native and
very proud of that. I’m involved in
serving several local charities through
service projects with Zonta. I also am
a board member of BLRWW, serve
as chair of my precinct, help at our
local Republican Party office and
serve our community politics in other
ways. I am active with Parker County
Cowboy Church and, of course,
being a part of Center of Hope.

PCT: What is the most interesting
thing you have ever done in your
life?
DC: It’s a toss-up between spending a
month on the road touring the middle
and northeastern United States with
my parents and two girlfriends when
I was 15, and visiting Williamsburg
with my husband Walter Couch. I’ve
always loved history and learning
more about our country’s beginnings,
so it is interesting to me to visit
places that have had an impact on
forming our country.
