Capernaum — Visit The Passover Experience
As you begin making plans for your family during the
Easter season , consider making a visit to Capernaum Village for their Passover Experience taking place March 16 th , 17 th , 23 rd , 24 th , 30 th and 31 st from 10 a . m . -5 p . m . each day .
The Passover Experience is a live , interactive production bringing to life the story of the very first Passover in the Old Testament all the way through to the last supper with Jesus and his disciples as told in the New Testament . There are several attractions included in the Passover Experience ticket price .
Guests are taken on an unforgettable journey through the Old Testament as they interact with Hebrew slaves in Egypt . You will witness the ten plagues that were sent as a warning to Pharaoh . Guests will make their way through the Path of Plagues and become part of the story as the tenth plague sweeps through the land .
Guests will once again become part of the story as actors welcome them into the first century village to witness the celebrations and preparations for Passover . Members of the Jerusalem village will welcome you into their home and allow you to hear about the traditions of this Biblical feast . The village tour takes guests up close to the betrayal of Jesus by one of his trusted friends , as you take a seat at the table with Jesus and his disciples at the Last Supper .
Other attractions in the Passover Experience include a Seder Experience where guests will participate in the tasting of the Passover meal while learning the meaning and importance of this three thousand year old tradition .
Get a group together to play themed laser tag . This new attraction is included in the admission ticket price . Guests can enjoy a leisurely tour through the 30,000 square foot Majestic Statue Garden which includes 13 Biblical statues beginning with Adam and Eve to a statue representing the resurrection of Jesus .
Lastly , you can spend the day at Capernaum without worrying about your meals and snacks . You can enjoy a delicious meal from Texas Burger or Rosa ’ s and a sweet treat from the Sweet Shop located on the grounds of Capernaum .
