Katherine is a deputy with the Parker County Sheriff ’ s Office
PCT : How did you get into your occupation ? KB : I first worked in the jail and then in dispatch with the Parker County Sheriff ' s Office . So , I got to work along the lines of law enforcement and I continued to want to move up and so I joined the academy . Now I am a deputy .
PCT : What is your favorite novel ? KB : My favorite novel ... do Wonder Woman comics count ?
PCT : What do you do to decompress ? KB : Stay at home with my boyfriend and watch movies , while cuddling with our dogs .
PCT : What is something people don ’ t know about you ? KB : That I am a bit of a nerd and have shelves full of comic books in my room .
PCT : For what would you most like to be remembered ? KB : Hmm ... I don › t really know on this one . I would have to say , doing my best to help my community .
PCT : If you could choose to have lunch with anyone , living or dead from history , who would it be ? KB : If you mean from history like as in someone famous from history ,
no one along those lines . If I could choose anyone , it would be to have lunch one more time with my grandmother .
PCT : If you had to do another job other than what you ’ re doing , what would you choose ? KB : Anything that would be along the lines of helping animals .
PCT : What is your greatest impact to Parker County ? KB : I haven › t been a deputy in Parker County for very long , so I can › t say I have had much impact just yet .
PCT : What is your definition of the best day ever ? KB : I would say hiking with my dogs .
PCT : What ’ s the best piece of advice you would give someone just starting out in your field ? KB : Have patience and treat people with respect .
PCT : What is the coolest thing you have ever done in your life ? KB : Coolest thing I have ever done would have to be skydiving . It was amazing !

PCT : How did you get into your occupation ? CC : I started my first company in 2010 , Church AV Installers , after
20 years of volunteer and employee experience in the Audio / Visual realm of technology for churches and broadcasting entities .
PCT : What is your favorite novel ? CC : “ Killing Patton : The Strange Death of World War II ’ s Most Audacious General ,” by Bill O ’ Reilly .
PCT : What do you do to decompress ? CC : If time permits , I really enjoy riding my motorcycle and eightwheeler , or a good game of poker .
PCT : What is something people don ’ t know about you ? CC : I have a high propensity for mechanics . I had , at one time , six running model Ts and rebuilt an eight-wheeler KID .
PCT : What would you most like to be remembered for ? CC : I want people to remember me for helping them find hope and a future .
PCT : If you could have lunch with anyone , either living or dead from history , who would it be ? CC : George Washington : he was a great leader .
PCT : If you had to do another job than what you ’ re doing , what would you do ? CC : I would rebuild cars or houses .
PCT : What is your impact to Parker County ? CC : My stance and propositions on Tax Reform Benefits school districts and property owners across Texas .
PCT : What is your definition of the best day ever ? CC : When I help someone step out from under oppression and find hope for their future .
PCT : What ’ s the best piece of advice you would give ? CC : Never underestimate where working hard can take you .
PCT : What is the most interesting thing you have ever done in your life ? CC : I rode in the MetLife Blimp .
