PCT : What ’ s the coolest thing that you have ever done in your life ? PD : Raising two happy , healthy , productive members of society . The second coolest would be traveling to England , Scotland and France .
PCT : What ’ s your secret talent ? PD : I worked in the stained glass industry for 10 years and participated in the creation of many windows throughout the community , including several local churches and the chapel at Clark Gardens in Mineral Wells . I also assisted with a baseball glass project for then Gov . George W . Bush that hung in the owner ’ s suite at the old Texas Rangers Ballpark in Arlington .
PCT : What is your definition of the best day ever ? PD : Any day that I can spend with my family is a great day , make it at the beach and it is the best day ever .
PCT : What piece of advice has defined your life up till now ? PD : No one is happy all day , every day . You have to find something that makes you happy every day .
PCT : What is the best thing about your job ? PD : The best thing about my job is that I learn something new every day . The worst thing about my job is that I have to learn something new every day . I am the Probate Auditor for Parker County Judge Mark Riley ’ s office and we handle all the probate , guardianship and mental health cases for the county . We do not always see people on their best day and I enjoy helping people through what could be a difficult time .

PCT : What do you want to be remembered for ? PD : I want to be known as a kind person with a big heart and warm home where everyone is welcome .
Kevin Cleveland
Kevin is the owner of C and S Development Services and sits on the City of Weatherford City Council
PCT : How long have you lived in Parker County ? KC : My family and I moved from a small East Texas town about eight years ago .
PCT : What ’ s the coolest thing that you have ever done in your life ? KC : I received my private pilot ’ s
license this past year . I have wanted to fly since I was a kid .
PCT : What ’ s your secret talent ? KC : Making furniture . The first piece I built was my dining room table . I used old barn wood from a barn near my old home in East Texas and built a table that could fit my large family of six . This seemed to tie everything together . I have since built several other pieces and each one has made our home feel more personal .
PCT : What is your definition of the best day ever ? KC : Tomorrow . No matter how great today is or yesterday was , I always find myself more excited about the potential for tomorrow . But , if you are trying to get me to give some insight to my likes I will give you a peek . My perfect day would involve a long solo hike in the mountains , playing video games with my kids , flying to lunch somewhere with my wife , attending my presidential inauguration , having a celebration dinner afterwards with literally everyone I know , and doing it all while never leaving my bed . Life is short and a day is shorter , I just want to enjoy every second .
PCT : What piece of advice has defined your life up till now ? KC : Actions have always been what made their mark on me . I had a stepdad that taught me a work ethic and a mother that taught me respect for God , family , elders , neighbors , property and authority . I have a father that taught me to take chances . A grandfather that showed me how to take a stance for what I believe . A wife that has taught me how to love and four kids that have taught me how to teach . Surround yourself with great people and you will find yourself becoming something you can be proud of .
PCT : What is the best thing about your job ? KC : I created it . My job is nothing special , but I take pride in the fact that I created it . I started with nothing but relationships . That ’ s what makes America exceptional , the ability to be great , not the promise .
