While many kids are inside playing video games , a group of eight teens at Weatherford High School are going above and beyond to make their organization , the Weatherford High School Rodeo Team , succeed . The team , made up of two seniors and six sophomores , is a group of hard-working teens whose sponsors are not the school they attend but their parents .
“ We are a group by ourselves with the school not supporting us ,” 17-year-old Rodeo President and Queen Bailey Henning said . “ Our sponsors help us put on a rodeo .”

The rodeo she speaks of is their upcoming team rodeo in February that will be held at the Parker County Sheriff Posse grounds . This rodeo is an annual team event that these kids work hard on .
“ We all help each other with the rodeo ,” Vice- President Destiny Spence , 17 , said .
Their sponsors are the adults in their life who believe in them and the team . This family oriented and fun atmosphere is what these kids live for , and why they work so hard for it to succeed . The teens genuinely love what they do and love being around each other . For them , the team
