PCT : What piece of advice has defined your life up until now ? TW : Make the absolute best of every day . Don ’ t dwell on the unpleasant — focus on the good .
PCT : If you could have another career , what would it be and why ? TW : I think I would like to flip houses or be in real estate . I constantly think about getting my realtor ’ s license .
Parker County ? JC : I am a lifelong resident of Parker County .
PCT : What is the coolest thing that you have ever done in your life ? JC : Traveling to Germany to meet my grandson Jimmy who was born at the Frankfurt , Germany , Army Base just two days before I arrived .
PCT : What is your secret talent ? JC : I would have to say that my most secret and enjoyable talent would either be crafting or baking .
JC : My goal throughout my career as a judge was to make a positive difference in at least one child ’ s life . It has also always been my intention to be a loving , supportive , and constant comfort to my parents , my sister , my husband , my kids , and my grandkids .

PCT : How did you get into your current job ? TW : I was unemployed and needed a job and thought that I would take something to just get me by until I found the job I wanted , then realized I was already there .
PCT : What would you like to be remembered for ? TW : My positive outlook on life .

PCT : What is / was your occupation or job ? JC : I retired in 2010 as Justice of the Peace for Precinct 2 in Parker County . I worked for Parker County for 24 years prior to being elected as JP in 1994 and served as JP for 16 years .
PCT : How long have you been in
PCT : What is your definition of “ the best day ever ”? JC : To have one day with all of my family together and enjoying each other with no worries of what has transpired or is to come . To be able to spend the day seeing the smiles and hearing the laughter of the ones I love would be absolutely ideal for me .
PCT : What piece of advice has defined your life until now ? JC : It was given to me by my parents . They told me , “ Work hard for what you want ; the world doesn ’ t owe you anything . You get out of life what you put into it .”
PCT : If you could have another career , what would it be and why ? JC : A Medical Examiner because I have always been fascinated by the forensic field .
PCT : How did you get into your current job ? JC : The road to my final position as JP # 2 was easy ; after working in the JP office for 23 years , it was a natural progression and I was encouraged by many people to take the next step and run for office .
PCT : What would you do if you weren ’ t doing this job ? JC : Since I retired I have been doing exactly what I love doing — traveling , going camping , crafting , baking , and most of all , spending time with my family .
PCT : What would you like to be remembered for ?
PCT : How long have you been in Parker County ? JR : I was raised here by my grandparents . I moved here at age 5 from Waco .
PCT : What ’ s the coolest thing that you have ever done in your life ? JR : I have done a lot of cool things . I have attended celebrity birthday parties and catered / waited on famous people . I got to meet Jose Conseco in my café . He was my favorite baseball player growing up .
PCT : What ’ s your secret talent ? JR : Turning wrenches . I like to work on my cars and antique stoves .
PCT : What is your definition of the best day ever ? JR : A day spent with my family , fiancé and kids whether it be at an amusement park or at the theater . Just doing something with all my family .
