PARKER COUNTY AG ARTsY AG ELIZABETH ELLIS BY CHRISTINA LOVELESS Elizabeth Ellis is a sophomore at Millsap High School where she is involved in the FFA program and serves as one of the FFA Officers. She is also serving as an officer of the Garner 4-H Club. Elizabeth got into showing in the seventh grade after attending her first 4-H meeting, and started showing goats and eventually moved into other areas. She’s won several awards including secondplace breeding rabbit and has won ribbons for photography. Outside of 4-H and FFA, she is involved in art as well as photography and has won second place at the state fair with her photography. After high school, Elizabeth plans on going to Lubbock Christian University for a degree in either Agriculture or Art. “It was my favorite class in elementary,” Elizabeth said. Elizabeth’s advice for those who are thinking about showing is to work with your animals. sPONsOREd BY Elizabeth Ellis on left FOR ALL YOUR FARM & RANCH, COMMERCIAL AND RESIDENTIAL REAL ESTATE NEEDS [email protected] Specializing in Parker County Commercial Real Estate PA R K E R C O U N T Y T O D AY 817-538-6846 FEBRUARY 2016 JIM MARTIN 95
