Q: What’s the most daring thing
you’ve ever done?
A: I’m always up for a good
challenge. Anything that anybody
challenges me with I’m up for. I want
to go cage diving and swim on the
Great Barrier Reef in Australia. That’s
on my bucket list. Also on my list is
jumping out of a plane.
Q: What accomplishment are you
most proud of?
A: Raising all of the money for the
animal shelter. Graduating is very
high on my list as is getting an outside
sales job right out of school.

Q: When you were a child, what did
you want to be when you grew up?
A: I wanted to be a veterinarian, and
then, in high school, a chef.

Q: How did you get into your field?
A: As a marketer, I knew I’d get
into a field like this. One of my old
professors was in the hall talking with
the regional manager of Fastenal. I
met him and after talking with me for
a little while, he offered me a job.

Q: Would you recommend your
career for other people? Why?
A: It depends on their personality.
You have to be adaptable and quick
thinking and a good problem solver.
You have to be a huge people person.
It’s a fun job if you have those
qualities.
Q: What do you do to relax?
A: I don’t have time to relax. I work
every day, go home and ride horses
every day, do meal prep and then
start over the next day. That’s not high
on the agenda.
Q: If you could visit any place in the
world, where would you go?
A: Australia, it looks so pretty.
