tive clients. We have conversations about where
they are financially, where they want to be, and
how to get there. My job is to help people artic-
ulate their goals and organize their resources to
help meet those goals.
PCT: What do you look forward to the most in
this new business?
GG: The best part of what I do is meeting a
wide variety of people, and learning about
what’s important to them.
PCT: What is the best piece of advice you can
give to customers?
GG: 1) Know what investments you own and
what role they play in the construction of your
portfolio. 2) Make sure you have enough life
insurance to cover the financial needs of your
loved ones.
PCT: What is something that others don’t know
about you?
GG: Those who have been here a long time
might know my last name because of my
parents. For those new to our community, my
dad and mom moved here so that my dad could
start his veterinary clinic in 1974. I was born
and raised here, graduating from Weatherford
High School in 1994. My wife, Liz, and I are
raising our three children in Parker County.
PCT: Where do you see yourself and your
business in the next 10 years?
GG: The next 10 years are going to be very
exciting. My practice will continue to grow
because people want to retire comfortably,
fund higher education accounts to help their
children and grandchildren, and make sure they
are protected in case of an unexpected loss. I
am already seeing clients becoming interested
in more sophisticated inter-generational wealth
planning, and younger investors who need
advice and a place to start. While I cannot
predict the future, I certainly remain positive on
being a trusted resource that’s able to make a
positive impact in people’s lives.
