ing shooters to be far more prolific,
Sánchez, now 34, said he’s glad he
started out with film. “Digital kind of
came and took over right when I was
getting into my late 20s,” he said. “I
think if I’d started out digital I’d have
just been shooting everything, not
really paying attention to or focusing
on the scene.”
What are some of his favorite
places around the globe?
“One of my favorites is Nepal,
as far as being beautiful,” he said.
“It’s sandwiched between India
and China, so it has a good mix of
culture. It’s similar to India with the
customs and religion, but at the same
time it has a lot of the Himalayan
culture of that region. It’s a good mix.
