Fantastic mini crab cakes were on
the menu for guests stopping by the
Boo-Rays of New Orleans booth at
the Boots, BBQ and Bachelor event.
The crab was perfection itself on a
warm, summer night. Boo-Rays has
much to celebrate with a new building and location to accommodate
even more Cajun-loving guests. Scott
Marks and Richard Sloan opened Boo
Ray’s in 2004.
Marks is a Louisiana native who
wanted to bring the taste of home
to the rest of the world and remind
them about the culture, heritage,
rich food and flavors of the Big Easy.
Boo-Ray’s features the freshest fish
delivered daily and their fish, steak
and ribs are fire grilled on an oldfashioned, wood-burning grill and
seasoned to perfection.
The menu includes all of your
Cajun favorites like jambalaya, dirty
rice, Étouffée and seafood gumbo,
along with their shrimp and fish
dishes. Weekly specials include an
all-day happy hour on Sunday and
Monday, and kids can eat free after 5
p.m. on Monday and Tuesday.
Their new location is great for
watching a game on one of their 10
HD flat-screen televisions. Boo-Ray’s
has two locations, the new one at
201 N. Lakeshore Drive in Hudson
Oaks and 7255 Boat Club Road in
Fort Worth.
