odiatrist Dr. Waymon Lewis and his lovely wife, Ashley, adore calling Parker County home. They live in
Brock with their three children: Jaydon, Conner and Ridge.
“We love that Brock is a small town with a tight-knit community,” Ashley said. “We are actively involved
in our church and school. It’s a perfect place to raise a family.”
Dr. Lewis grew up in Johnson City, outside of Austin, and attended San Angelo State University. He
graduated with honors in 1998. Dr. Lewis has been practicing in Weatherford for over 17 years and is a
member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the Texas Podiatric Medical Association.
His college counselor is the one who got him interested in podiatry. He chose Weatherford as the place
to establish his practice because of the growth.
“When I was a resident at JPS, Parker County growth was second to Collin County,” he said. “No podi-
atrist had a full-time presence out here. Weatherford reminds me of my hometown with the rolling hills
and trees. I love living out in the county, but close enough to the city to attend sporting events and other
events in the city.”
His practice, Weatherford Podiatry, provides several podiatric services and procedures to treat a variety
of conditions, including toenail fungus treatment, sports medicine, stem cell treatments, wound care
and diabetic foot care.
In his spare hours away from his very busy business he likes to fish, hunt, do stuff with his kids and
watch baseball games with his boys. Ashley said that they also love to travel, but aren’t able to get away
as much these days.
