come into her own.”
Hannah went to a fine arts co-op
while in Chicago, her first formal art
instruction. Currently, on Mondays
she attends Travis Academy of Fine
Arts in Fort Worth.
“Before, she knew how to do
this, how to conceptualize it in her
head, but now she knows some
technique and it’s a lot easier for her
to get what she wants to down on
paper — knowing the types of pencils
to use, things like that,” Stacy said.
It is unclear where young
Hannah’s love of art may take her,
but she has a few ideas about her
future career and what part art may
play in her life down the road.
“A lot of people say it’s pretty
hard to do that [make a living as an
artist],” she said. “I really want to
be a teacher of dance or art, and I
feel like that’s what I’ll be doing in
several years — being a teacher of
some sort.” And why not — she loves
teaching her sister.
