Martin-Tanner has been with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools for
17 years and has been principal at Ridge Road since 2009. Previously,
she was a principal at Hawthorne High, assistant principal at Hopewell
High and J.M. Alexander Middle and an assistant principal and special
populations coordinator at Vance High. In 1991, Martin-Tanner began
her career as a special education teacher and career specialist in
Florence, SC.
