RSS Hosts New Employee Celebration New employees from across the district received a warm welcome from the community at Rowan-Salisbury School System’s New Employee Celebration in October. “It’s important for us to make sure that each one of our new staff members – from bus drivers to principals – feels appreciated and welcomed in our district,” said Kristi Rhone, Chief Human Resources Officer. “We know that many of our new employees chose us over of a number of other job offers, and we want to show them our gratitude.” The celebration, hosted in partnership with the Rowan County Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by Atrium Health, gave new employees and their families the opportunity to mingle with local businesses and service providers while enjoying a hot dog dinner prepared and partially donated by the Hot Dog Shack in Rockwell, NC.
