Elementary Summer Camps Out and About with Mr . Neil - Are you ready to go out and about with Mr . Neil ? This camp for our youngest students will take you outside to explore nature ! We will look at bugs , animals , and plants in a whole new light while having fun , fun , fun ! TV / Radio Camp - Produce Your Own Show - Go behind the scenes of media and learn how to map out and create shows through radio and tv . Students will have the opportunity to learn how radio shows are created , how to make sound effects to mimic real life sounds , and write scripts that tell a story to the listener . We will also focus on how to edit video footage and understand the different ways to create viewed content . Students will gain an appreciation of both types of media and an understanding of how that media is created . Art / Make Camp — Past Meets Present - Every piece of art has a distinct style . Throughout history art has changed styles numerous times . This camp will study some of the most famous art styles and students will get the opportunity to create art based on those styles . Painting , sculpting , and creating is the focus of this camp helping student express their creativity and also help them understand the reasons why art changes and what makes it change . Take advantage of this opportunity to utilize Horizons Unlim-ited ’ s two newly renovated learning spaces , The Refinery - Makerspace and the Think Tank - Design Lab !
