Board Cork news RSS EDUCATORS GRADUATE FROM ‘DISTINGUISHED LEADERSHIP IN PRACTICE’ Congratulations to the following Rowan- Salisbury educators that recently graduated from the ‘Distinguished Leadership in Practice’ (DLP) program: Meredith Williams, North Rowan High Principal Jordan Baker, Millbridge Elementary Principal RSS received the Discovery Education “Innovation in Education” award for transforming classrooms, empowering teachers, and supporting the success of every student. This award was presented during the district’s “Experience the POWER of a New Public Education” event. KNOX MIDDLE TEACHERS ARE STATE WINNERS The NC Association for Middle Level Education (NCMLE) awarded the "Team to Watch" award to a teaching team from Knox Middle School at a ceremony held in Greensboro. This scholarship exceeds $100k and is among the most prestigious scholarships awarded to students in the state. RSS TEACHER HONORED AS A ‘TEACHER GETTING RESULTS” Hanford Dole Elementary Teacher Sally Schultz was honored and surprised by TV Network Fox 46 – and featured in a segment aired on Fox 46 – as a “Teacher Getting Results.” Ms. Schultz also appeared live on Fox 46 the following morning.
