Congratulations to West Rowan High School teacher Courtney Wood! Ms. Wood’s students have been chosen as final participants for

MAKE-UP DAYS*
The status of any day in the calendar can be
changed at any time during the school year if
days are missed due to inclement weather. All
days (except Sunday) between August 29 and
June 9, no matter how they are designated on
the school calendar MAY become make-up
days. Be advised the week of Spring Break
(April 14-21) is tentative and can be used as
school make-up days. Any Saturday, particularly in January-April is subject to being
changed to a school make-up day. Notice for
make-up days may be short depending upon
the timing and duration of the inclement
weather. General statues and State Board of
Education policy concerning the school
calendar will be followed. The make-up
schedule will be announced as soon as
possible after an inclement weather event has
ended.

RELEASE DAYS
Student Early Release Days: Students will be
dismissed from school 2.5 hours earlier than
the normal dismissal time on seven days
during the year. Lunch will be served before
