An eight-member review team interviewed 257 stakeholders including the superintendent, school board members, administrators, instructional staff, support staff, students, parents and community partners. They held 99 classroom observations that equates to 33 hours of instruction. In addition they reviewed volumes of documents and artifacts previously submitted to them in preparation for their visit. RECOMMENDATION FOR ACCREDITATION The review team presented an Exit Report to the Board of Education at a called meeting at the conclusion of their visit that was held at Horizons Unlimited. The External Review Team will recommend to the AdvancED Accreditation Commission that the Rowan-Salisbury School System earn the distinction of accreditation by AdvancED for a five-year term that expires June 30, 2020. District Accreditation provides Rowan-Salisbury Schools a nationally recognized mark of quality for the district and all schools within the district.
