Kelly Feimster Receives State Honor Kelly Feimster, RSS Director of Instructional Programs, is the recipient of the “2018 NCMEA Honor Administrator Award” recognition presented by the NC Music Educators Association (NCMEA). The award honors a school adminis- trator who demonstrates that the arts, in particular music, are an indispens- able part of the school curriculum. She was nominated to receive this honor by several RSS music instructors. The North Carolina Music Educators Association (NCMEA), founded in 1970, is a state affiliate of the National Association for Music Education (NAfME). The mission of NCMEA is to advance music education by promoting the understanding and making of music by all.
