First Annual Knox Middle STEMposium - Excellence In Action
First Annual Knox
Middle STEMposium
shows Excellence In
Action! Often times it
is hard to express in
words when something
GREAT has happened
for our students, such
as the First Annual
Knox STEMposium definitely an example of
EXCELLENCE. The hard
work, collaboration, and
commitment from the
Knox leadership team
created this purposeful
and engaging evening
for students, parents and
community members, an
example of EXCELLENCE.
Numerous activities
showcased the higherlevel learning opportunities that are provided everyday to students. The feedback received from
parents was very exciting. Many did not have these type of learning experiences when they were
in school and they were eager to share how excited they are that their children are being given
opportunities “to learn skills, to think, and to get along with each other.” Parents had fun learning
about the iPads. One grandmother commented; “I have never touched one of these - “This was a
great night. My grandson showed me how to check the weather on the iPad. It was cool.” All parents
want their kids to be successful and to have a chance at a better future. Many parents caught a
glimpse of the endless possibilities for that future. Thank you Knox Middle School for leading the way
in being an example of EXCELLENCE!
