If students have
not been immunized
yet, please remember
that North Carolina law
requires families to show
proof of vaccinations for
the first day of school.
Parents of prekindergarteners,
kindergartners and
students who are new
to CMS are required to
prove their child’s immunizations are current in order for the student
to enter school. Kindergarteners are also required to have proof of
a physical exam or health assessment completed within 12 months
of starting school. Students entering the sixth grade will require the
Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis (Tdap) immunization or proof of the
Tetanus, Diphtheria (Td) vaccination within the past three years.
