National Board Certified Teachers honored for their hard work
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools Board of Education members and district
administrators attended a celebration on February 17 to honor a group
of exceptional teachers. Ninety-one teachers were honored for achieving
National Board Certification. Thirty four teachers were certified for the first
time and 57 teachers renewed their certification.

n Teachers are responsible for managing and monitoring student
learning.
n Teachers think systematically about their practice and learn from
their experience.
Teachers are members of learning communities.
