CCS Launches New Digital Magazine
CCS Home to Awesome Student Artists
CCS is home to several talented artists. We offer our congratulations to
the following students who represented our district at two exhibits.

Riley van Ravesteyn and Nick Mills – Winecoff Elementary School
Maria Buck – Jay M. Robinson High School
This past June, Nick and Maria’s artwork was selected to be exhibited at
the U.S. Department of Education in Washington D.C. Student artwork was
selected from across North Carolina for an exhibit titled, “Artful Expressions:
From the Mountains to the Sea.”
The exhibit, which was on display in June and July featured artwork
from 60 students from North Carolina’s public and private schools. For more

Riley’s artwork has been selected for display in a permanent exhibit at the
North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI). The exhibit features
artwork from public school districts across the state (one only per county) and
will be installed in October. A reception will be held in March in the capital.

billboard advertising campaign designed to promote the school system.
