Cabarrus County Schools and Kannapolis City Schools were
united for a few moments before the start of the annual Battle of
the Bell Game on Aug. 20th. CCS Superintendent Chris Lowder
and KCS Superintendent Pam Cain shared the field along with our
awesome partners from United Way and Belk to encourage game
attendees to volunteer in schools, stress the importance of regular
school attendance and
illuminate the support
United Way and its
partner agencies provide
to students and families
in Cabarrus County.
Belk is a long-time
donor of uniforms for
students, and this year,
it will donate uniforms
to Cabarrus County
Schools. We thank them
and United Way for their
support.
