CMS Students Send Aid
Concord Middle School students linked up with Tacos 4 Life to send aid to Central and South American organizations that help feed hungry
children and families. Tacos 4 Life is a restaurant chain that donates a portion of every sale to their partner organization, Feed My Starving
Children, which manages purchases of rice, soy, vegetables and vitamin powder and distributes packaged meals to those in need. On Novem-
ber 16 th , Concord Middle students purchased meals from Tacos 4 Life, set up a food packing site, and packed meals to send to Central and
South America. The process allowed students to see what the concept of globalization really looks like and how one’s local efforts can make a
difference in the world.
