CHS Students Support Hurricane Victims
Concord High School students were the light for children that were
impacted by the hurricane this holiday season. The Be The Light
service project was led by CHS leadership students who collected gifts
of clothes, coats, shoes, and toys from CHS clubs, individual donors,
and community members. Harkers Island and surrounding areas were
devastated by Hurricane Florence in September. Students at Harkers
Island Elementary School were the recipients of the gifts from our
generous Spiders.
Kate, among eight other regional winners, will now participate in the
state selection process. The North Carolina Teacher of the Year will be
named in April.
Congratulations, Kate!
