Students Transform into Adults at BizTown
Cabarrus County Schools elementary AIG students visited JA BizTown , a fully interactive simulated town facility in Downtown Charlotte . Fourth and fifth grade students may not be old enough to drive , work , vote , or be the boss but that doesn ’ t stop them from operating banks , managing restaurants , writing checks , and using teamwork and problem solving at JA BizTown ! This day long field trip helps students connect the dots between what they learn in school how it can be applied in the real world . JA BizTown is a program sponsored by Junior Achievement .
