Breakfast & Lunch

Breakfast will be served starting at 7:50 am. Parents and students are asked to plan their schedules so that students do not arrive prior to 8:00 am (breakfast students) or 8:20 am (non-breakfast students) due to the limited supervision available. Students are expected to enter and leave the building through the exterior cafeteria doors.
chool Lunch
Students may participate in the school’s hot lunch program or bring a cold lunch from home. Soda pop is highly discouraged as we are striving to emphasize healthy lunches. A friendly note will be a reminder for parents that lunch money is needed as soon as possible. The daily price of lunch is $1.85 regular price, 40 cents reduced price. A parent may pay daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, or yearly. The phone number for the lunch room is 452-4509. Breakfast prices are $1.25 regular, 30 cents reduced. Adults are $3.50.

Field Trips
Throughout the year children may be involved in field trips. These are extensions of classroom experiences and serve to connect classroom lessons to community resources.
Supervision on field trips is provided primarily by staff members. For certain trips, parents may be asked to chaperone. Other relatives, friends, or siblings will not be allowed to supervise or attend the field trip.

School Telephone
The school telephone is reserved for students’ emergency use. Arrangements for play, rides home, or calling friends do not constitute emergencies.
Normally, neither teacher nor student will be called from the classroom to accept telephone calls except in emergencies.
