FROM THE SUPERINTENDENT Holiday greetings to our Flagler Schools Families, We are right in the middle of the holiday “season” and the attitude of gratitude I humbly try to spread to all our campuses is shown so many ways. So many students, teachers, administrators, and staff contributed in a variety of ways a few months ago following the devastation along the Florida panhandle. We were able to send buses, school supplies, cleaning supplies, and funds to our friends in Bay County. They are still dealing with the effects of Hurricane Michael, something that will not be taken care of in days, weeks, or months. But it has been encouraging to see so many other school districts and communities across our state come to the aid of those counties hit hardest by the storm. Flagler Schools is also about to celebrate our District Teacher and Support Employee of the Year. We will hold our annual ceremony at Flagler Auditorium on January 17, 2019. The public is encouraged to attend and watch how we celebrate all our shining stars. Look for additional information in the weeks to come. In the meantime, I’d like to share with you the list of all our Teachers and Employees of the Year. I wish all of them the best of luck as committees have the difficult task of naming our District winners. They will, of course, go on to represent Flagler Schools in statewide competition.
