08 Melissa's Journey
Melissa was fortunate to escape two domestic violence situations in her lifetime. Since then, she has taken the strength and know-how that she has gained and is advocating for others that are in similar situations. She has done so much in a short period time to include workshops, advocacy, and awareness marches.
14 A STATE of Affairs
State Bags started with an idea to help inner city kids to stop carrying their belongings in trash bags. Soon it grew into a business that not only sells trendy backpacks and bags but also gives back to the community.
